Eddie Murphy films at least bring in $2.70 for every $1 he takes home.
Barrymore’s recent movies have all been disasters. ‘Everybody’s Fine’ (2009) earned $16m. ‘Lucky You’ in 2007 earned $8m.
Murphy’s recent efforts ‘Meet Dave’ and ‘Imagine That’ lost money. ‘Meet Dave’ cost $60m and made $50m. ‘Imagine That’ cost $55m and returned $22m.
