Pepa (Sandra Denton) of Salt N’ Pepa took a little misstep while playing at New York’s 90’s Fest on Saturday, accidentally stepping off a platform in front of the concert stage.
It appears, from the TMZ video below, that there were three separate “blocks” in front of the stage with Pepa first getting on the one on the left. She then attempted to do a jump to the center block but missed and went down face first.
After the song, she acknowledged the accident, telling the crowd “New York got me so hyped that I busted my ass.”
90’s Fest included performances by such acts as Naughty by Nature, Coolio, Blind Melon, Smash Mouth, Tonic and Lisa Loeb.
