Rihanna Joins Bates Motel Cast

Rihanna will play Marion Crane in Bates Motel.

Janet Leigh played the original Marion Crane character in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, the guest who was murdered in the infamous show scene.

“We wanted to thrust the iconic role into a contemporary spotlight and redefine it in a meaningful and exciting new way,” said executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin in a statement. “We also heard Rihanna was a fan of the show, and we were huge fans of hers, so it was the perfect collision of creativity and fate.”

In 2017 Rihanna will be seen in the movie movie ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’. She previously played Petty Officer Cora ‘Weps’ Raikes in the 2012 movie ‘Battleship.
