American electro house musician Steve Aoki will today join Hard Rock history by donating several pieces from his personal archive to Hard Rock’s world-famous music memorabilia collection.

Aoki will make an appearance at Hard Rock Cafe London today, 28 July, 12.30pm to unveil items chosen to be donated, including clothing, instruments and other personal items, and to celebrate his partnership with Hard Rock International. In honour of the memorabilia donation, Hard Rock International will be presenting a cheque to the Steve Aoki Charitable Fund, which raises money for global humanitarian relief and essential medical research, such as brain research and disease prevention, to help with health issues that arise every year around the world.

Steve Aoki’s donated personal items include Pioneer CDJs, a DJ Mixer, Synth, Keyboard, tour banners, hoodies and t-shirts. The items will join more than 77,000 pieces of music memorabilia that Hard Rock has acquired over its 44-year history, including iconic pieces like Madonna’s wedding dress from ‘Like a Virgin,’ John Lennon’s wireframe tinted glasses, Jim Morrison’s famous brown leather pants, and many more.

Steve Aoki commented, ‘I’m honoured to be donating personal items to Hard Rock’s world-famous collection, and it’s so exciting to be celebrating this milestone at Hard Rock Cafe London, Hard Rock’s first-ever cafe. Hard Rock is an iconic brand with a philanthropic vision that mirrors my own; I’m so grateful for the opportunity to raise additional funds for our Steve Aoki Charitable Fund, which will help so many people around the world with global relief efforts.’
