Brisbane band The Cairos have decided to call it a day.

The band has posted the following message on their Facebook page:

A short time ago, we got together and came to the realisation that we’re all ready for the next part of our lives. After spending the best part of seven years in planes, vans, rehearsal rooms, sleeping on couches, its time for new creative challenges, projects and adventures.

The shows in two weeks will be our last as The Cairos.

To everyone who has come to a show, supported us or bought our music we want to say thank you so much. Also, a big thanks to our families, friends, management, booking agency and everyone else who has been there behind the scenes. We’ve achieved more than we could have imagined and we’re extremely grateful to those who have been a part of the journey. We couldn’t have come this far without you.

If you’re in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne we would love to see you at one of our final shows.

Love Always
Alistar, Alfio & Jacob

Final shows for The Cairos are

Thu 21 Jan 2016 | Shebeen Bandroom, Melbourne Vic
Fri 22 Jan 2016 | Brighton Up Bar, Sydney Nsw
Sat 23 Jan 2016 | The Foundry, Brisbane Qld
