The Muppets Take On NWA To Become MWA

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on August 19, 2015

in News

While their cousins over on Sesame Street recently announced that they sold their souls to HBO, the Muppets have gone in the opposite direction by getting down with some N.W.A.

Well, at least in the warped mind of Toronto based video editor Benjamin Roberts who posts mashups on YouTube under the name of AnimalRobot. In his latest, he’s taken scenes from a number of Muppet films, including the original Muppet Movie and Sesame Street’s Follow That Bird and synced it to N.W.A.’s Express Yourself.

This isn’t Roberts’ first trip to the world of Jim Henson’s creations. Here is Cookie Monster doing Busta Rhymes’ Gimme Some More.

…and Big Bird doing Big Pun’s Still Not a Player.
