Travis Barker Gushes Over Rita Ora

Rocker Travis Barker has gushed about how “hot” his new girlfriend Rita Ora is.

Last week rumours emerged suggesting the 39-year-old Blink-182 rocker and the 24-year-old British songstress started dating each other several weeks ago.

And on Monday 5 October (15) Travis confirmed they are indeed an item and he even detailed the first time he met Rita at the Power 106 All-Star Game in Los Angeles on 20 September (15), noting her sexy black and white cheerleader outfit caught his attention.

“I performed there with Tyga and Kid Ink,” Travis recalled to Us Weekly magazine. “We had just met through passing. We have a mutual friend named Willie T. I had walked up and he was like, ‘Yo, take a picture with Rita.’ And I was like, ‘Okay.’

“We just took a photo together, but obviously she’s stunning and she’s awesome.

“Of course Rita Ora was like the only hot cheerleader at the whole spot, so you couldn’t help but notice her.”

There is so much speculation surrounding Travis’ romance with Rita. Rumours are rife the musician is still living with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who he shares two children with.

It has also been claimed Shanna believes Travis is only with Rita to make her jealous.

But Travis dismisses this hearsay as complete garbage.

“One word for that: just thirsty,” he said. “Thirsty. I have no connection to my baby’s mama except that she’s the mother of my children. I don’t know where those rumours are coming from. That’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.”
Travis was married to Shanna from 2004 to 2008.

And he insists any suggestions of romance between them are absolute nonsense.

“We haven’t been romantically involved for six to seven years,” Travis said.

Travis has divorced twice in the past, as he also ended his marriage to Melissa Kennedy in 2002.

Before her relationship with Travis, Rita was engaged in serious romances with Calvin Harris and Tommy Hilfiger’s son Ricky Hilfiger.
