Yoko Ono Celebrates John Lennon’s 75th Birthday In Iceland

Sixty years after its release, The Beatles' *Revolver* remains the record that transformed the band's approach to recording, redefined the possibilities of the studio and set the creative path that would lead directly to *Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band*.

A previously unheard John Lennon home demo titled Little Girl has become the biggest revelation of The Beatles' forthcoming Rubber Soul Special Edition, marking the discovery of an unknown Lennon composition that remained hidden for more than 60 years.

A countdown on The Beatles' official website has fuelled widespread expectations that the band's next Super Deluxe Edition will be 1965's landmark album Rubber Soul, with an announcement expected on July 29.

Sixty years later, the album remains a landmark release, largely because of the controversy surrounding its original cover artwork.

The Beatles will mark Global Beatles Day on 25 June with the first official online release of a colourised version of their landmark 1967 performance of All You Need Is Love, commemorating one of the most significant broadcasts in music history.
