The first production for The Production Company for 2012 is Mel Brooks musical The Producers.
Trevor Ashley (Hairspray) and Brent Hill (Rock Of Ages) will star in the show with Christie Whelan, Wayne Scott Kermond, Michael Butel and Rohan Browne.
The Producers is the story of Max Bailystock, a struggling Broadway producer and Leo Bloom, a stage-struck accountant who get rich by producing the worst musical ever on Broadway.
The Producers will start its limited season at The State Theatre on July 10.
