Mary Anne Is Coming To Australia For Supanova

Dawn Wells, best known as Mary Anne in the 60s sitcom Gilligan’s Island, is coming to Australia for Supanova.

Supanova is Australia’s pop culture show, much like Comic-Con in the USA.

Dawn Wells is now 77-years old. She and Tina Louise (who played Ginger) are the only two surviving stars of Gilligan’s Island.

Wells was crowned Miss Nevada in 1959 and represented her state in the Miss America pageant of 1960. She then went onto Hollywood and scored roles in 77 Sunset Strip, Maverick and Bonanza before being cast as the character who would live with her forever, Mary Anne in Gilligan’s Island.

Eka Darville of Jessica Jones, and his The Originals co-star Daniel Sharman of Teen Wolf, will be appearing at the expo.

In addition, Supanova has also announced the following talent:
