The Avalanches ‘Wildflower’ Becomes Fastest Selling Album Of The Week

The Avalanches ‘Wildflower’ was an instant hit with music fans with first day sales pushing it ahead of Delta Goodrem’s ‘Wings of the Wild’.

‘Wildflower’ comes almost 16 years after the first album for The Avalanches, ‘Since I Left You’, released in November 2000. ‘Since I Left You’ peaked at no 21 on the Australian album chart.

‘Wildflower’ features appearance from Ariel Pink, Warren Ellis and Father John Misty.

‘Frankie Sinatra’, the lead single from the album, peaked at no 34 in Australia, 31 in Mexico and 98 in Belgium.

The Avalanches previous release was their remix of Hunters & Collectors ‘Stalking To A Stranger’ in 2013.
