The Gin Club Celebrate Tenth Anniversary

in Live,News

After four albums The Gin Club are commemorating their 10 year anniversary by re-releasing their self-titled debut on vinyl and announcing a tour.

Beginning their life at an open mic night in Brisbane’s Irish Pub, The Gin Club have since played numerous gigs in Australia and around the world.

To celebrate their tenth year in existence, the seven piece will release a vinyl edition of their much-loved self-titled album in December. Recorded at Brisbane’s Airlock Studios after band member, Scotty Regan, won recording time in a charity auction, the album features now classic tracks such as ‘You Don’t See Me’, ‘Wilde Bitch’ and ‘Cinderella’.

In addition to the re-release, they will also play a string of shows across the country taking in both metropolitan and regional areas. The shows promise to deliver a thorough history of The Gin Club and hopefully a few new tunes for good measure.

The Gin Club are currently in the studio preparing their fifth studio album, due for release sometime in 2014.
