For their 2013 run, they will play ten shows over the course of sixteen nights starting on March 1 and ending on March 16. Their long tradition started in 1989 and, since then, has seen over 210 sellouts.

Gregg Allman commented “Yes, it’s that time. “The Beacon run is always magical. The room sounds great, lots of familiar faces and the band really stretches out. After Macon, New York is really our second home. There’s just something about it, and our fans know it.”

While no details have been announced, the Beacon Theatre shows have seen guest appearances from some of rock’s greatest artists including Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Taj Mahal, Johnny Winter, Boz Scaggs, Hubert Sumlin, Dr. John and many more.

In addition, the band has announced they will be playing one of the nights (to be determined) at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival at Madison Square Garden along with headlining two nights at the Wanee Music Festival in Live Oak, FL.
