Aretha Franklin Sends A Rainbow At Detroit Tigers Tribute

by Paul Cashmere on August 23, 2018

in News

Aretha Franklin, The Queen of Soul (and maybe now the Queen of Souls) sent a very positive message to fans at a Detroit Tigers match on Tuesday.

During the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs match one-minutes silence was observed to respect the passing of The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.

As the scoreboard portrayed the word ‘Respect’ acknowledging Aretha’s signature song, the venue lit up with a rainbow perfectly arching across the screen and the field.

Aretha Franklin passed on 16 August 2018.
