Burt Bacharach, one of the greatest songwriters of a generation, will return for Australian dates in October and November.

Bacharach’s catalogue of hits includes Alfie, Do You Know The Way To San Jose, Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head, A House Is Not A Home, What’s New Pussycat?, Arthur’s Theme, Always Something There To Remind Me, What The World Needs Now Is Love, That’s What Friends Are For, I Say A Little Prayer, This Guy’s In Love With You, On My Own, I’ll Never Fall In Love Again, and Close To You.

The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, The Carpenters, Tom Jones, Herb Alpert and Dionne Warwick have recorded his songs.

Tickets for Burt Bacharach will go on sale in Friday July 31 at 9am.
