Chris Bailey Joins The Angels On Stage

The Damned and The Saints '73-'78 will finally share a stage together for the first time in 2025, nearly five decades after both bands detonated the original punk explosion in the UK and Australia. The tour also revives the historic crossover created by late bassist Algy Ward, the musician whose career linked both legendary groups.

The Saints are preparing to release what will stand as their final album with Chris Bailey, Long March Through The Jazz Age, due 28 November through Fire Records. The second single, Judas, has now been unveiled - a haunting, string-laden ballad where Bailey's unmistakeable voice is draped across the shimmer of a 12-string guitar.

Fire Records will release Long March Through the Jazz Age, the last recordings of Chris Bailey and The Saints, on 28 November 2025. The release will arrive just days after what would have been Bailey’s 69th birthday, serving as a poignant final chapter in the story of one of Australia’s most important and influential bands.
