Georgia May Jagger, the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, has cancelled her fashion show in Melbourne this weekend and flown to New York to be with family following the death of her father’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott.

Scott was found dead in her New York apartment at 10am Monday (New York time). Mick Jagger arrived in Perth, Australia yesterday with the Rolling Stones for the start of their 14 on Fire tour but the tour now looks in doubt.

Georgia May heard the news of the death of Scott when she arrived in Sydney this morning from London on her way to Melbourne. Instead of continuing to Melbourne, she boarded a flight to New York.

Mick Jagger is reported to have left Perth for New York and local radio station 96FM has reported that the Perth show for tomorrow night has been cancelled.

The Rolling Stones are expected to make an announcement about the fate of the Australian and New Zealand tour shortly.
