Great Grandfather Mick Jagger Is A Father Again

There’s an old novelty song called I’m My Own Grandpa that weaves a convoluted tale of how a man, through various relationships, becomes his own grandfather.

We might just need a similar song, or at least a logic chart, to figure out how Mick Jagger’s great-granddaughter is two years older than his newborn son.

Jagger, 73, and his girlfriend Malanie Hamrick, 29, welcomed the birth of their new son on Thursday in New York. Jagger’s publicist said “They are both delighted. Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”

Jagger and Hamrick began dating after the suicide of Jagger’s previous girlfriend L’Wren Scott in 2014.

For the record, here are Jagger’s children:
Karis Hunt Jagger (born 1970, mother Marsha Hunt)
Jade Jagger (born 1971, mother Bianca Jagger)
Lizzie Jagger (born 1984, mother Jerry Hall)
James Jagger (born 1985, mother Jerry Hall)
Georgia Jagger (born 1992, mother Jerry Hall)
Gabriel Jagger (born 1997, mother Jerry Hall)
Lucas Jagger (born 1999, mother Luciana Morad)
[To Be Named] Jagger (born 2016, mother Malanie Hamrack)
