Janelle Monae will tour Australia in May with Kimbra.
Janelle Monae and Kimbra will perform The Golden Electric Tour soul revue.
Kimbra and Janelle first got together at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in July 2013.
The Golden Electric Tour will see Janelle and Kimbra perform individually and together during the show.
Janelle Monae stunned the music world with her debut album ‘The ArchAndroid’ in 2010 and followed that up with ‘The Electric Lady’ featuring guest performances by Prince, Erykah Badu and Solange.
Kimbra, together with Gotye, had the massive global hit with ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ and has collaborated with Daniel Johns, John Legend and Matt Bellamy.
General public tickets for The Golden Electric Tour go on sale on April 16 .
