A teaser for Justin Bieber’s new single ‘Boyfriend’, featuring Mike Posner, has appeared online.

The single is the first listen of the teen megastar’s new style, which producers have mooted as far more ‘edgy’ than his pop idol beginnings.
We’ve heard the track and it’s certainly a more mature approach; minimalist crooning in the style of Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveSounds.
‘Boyfriend’ has Mike Posner on the hook and a looping sound which can only be described as whalesong.
Check out the ‘making of’ teaser below, with shots from the studio and some discussion from producers, Posner and the Biebs himself. ‘Boyfriend’ will be released March 26 on iTunes.
