Poet Stephen Kalinich was a friend of The Beach Boys, especially Brian Wilson for over 60 years. Stephen co-wrote Beach Boys songs ‘Little Bird’ and Be Still’ for the Beach Boys Friends album, ‘All I Want To Do’, the b-side of ‘I Can Hear Music’ was a Stephen and Dennis Wilson song.
Stephen wrote ‘Rainbows’ for Dennis’ solo album ‘Pacific Ocean Blue’ and ‘A Friend Like You’ for Brian’s ‘Getting In Over My Head’ album that Brian sang as a duet with Paul McCartney on the album.
More recently, Stephen’s words have made up songs for Lemon Twigs’ singer Brian D’Addario’s solo album.
And now we also have a new Stephen Kalinich album ‘I Love My Life’, produced by Milo Binder, and Willie Aron.
