Dancer, father of Britney Spears’ children, and occasional rapper Kevin Federline announces that ‘PopoZao’ was a joke and that his full album will be released in August.

According to Contact Music, K-Fed claimed that he used the admittedly hilarious rap tune ‘PopoZao’ as a way to cash in on the thousands of people who were already snickering at his sock and sandal fetish and the deadbeat-dad rumours. He told AllHipHop that PopoZao mean “big butt” in Portuguese. If the single was a joke -and it’s starting to sound like it was – Federline laughed last. While critics filled the air with scoffing, his website received a reported two million hits in eight days following the track being uploaded.

Federline told People Magazine that a full album, titled ‘Playing With Fire’, would be released in August 2006. And he also said that he’s ready for the inevitable shellacking he’ll get from the world’s gossip media. “Sure, there’ll be initial shock and awe. But they’ve already said so much sh*t about me, it can’t get worse.”

The only track currently available seems to be the drug, alcohol and violence-fuelled ‘America’s Most Hated’, featured on his myspace. Can’t wait to see how Sean Preston turns out.
