Molly Meldrum’s brother Brian has told the media that ‘he’s not out of the woods”.

Brian Meldrum held a press conference this afternoon at The Alfred Hospital where his brother Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum is being treated after falling off a ladder at his Richmond home yesterday.
Brian confirmed that Molly is suffering from multiple injures including a fractured skull, broken shoulder, broken ribs and possibly a broken vertebrae but until the bleeding on the brain is stabilized they cannot start working on the other injuries.
Brian said his brother is improving “in small steps”.
Molly has received a flood of support from all over the world today with tweets from Boy George, Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia and the Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard who called him “a close friend.”
