Dave Gilmour, Rick Wright and Nick Mason have hinted that they may play music together again.

Speaking at the launch of the Pulse Live DVD in London, the band were asked if viewing the footage of their legendary 1994 performance at Earls Court had made them want to take the stage again. Wright responded with a clear and unequivocal “Yes”.

Gilmour gave a slightly more considered response, suggesting that he may continue down the solo path, after the success of his ‘On An Island’ CD, released in March this year. He mused, “All four of the old group – the classic line up – if you want to call it that, have been out plying our trade this year and so we all are doing exactly that and it’s been enormously great fun for myself. My plan is to just meander my own particular way for the time being.”

Wright went on to say that he’d be happy to be involved in any of Gilmour’s projects, a sentiment returned by the guitarist. Mason irreverently made it clear that his services would be available to anyone.

There was, perhaps not surprisingly, no mention of Roger Waters.
