The Rolling Stones turned 50 in April if we go by the first time they named the band, June if you go by the first time they played a gig and January next year if you go by when Charlie Watts joined the group.

So far this year the 50th anniversary has been extremely lukewarm with only a logo and news of a new book to so far ring in the celebrations. They turned down the Olympic games.

At the Rolling Stones Facebook page, this statement appeared, “It’s our 50th anniversary year and we have some exciting news coming soon! To get involved, download the free uView app and follow the instructions posted across our sites for a teaser. Stay tuned for our announcement!”.

So stayed tuned Rolling Stones fans. To be continued…
