The Rolling Stones will release five additional songs from the Foreign Tongues recording period on November 27, with the deluxe edition of their 2026 album titled Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips.

The expanded release will be available as a deluxe two-CD edition, pairing the original 14-track Foreign Tongues album with a five-song second disc titled Loose Lips. A standalone vinyl edition will also be available.

The five additional recordings are ‘Where There’s A Will’, ‘Who You Callin’ Crazy’, ‘Human Tide’, ‘Bad Luck Hideaway’ and ‘She Still Comes Around’. Among the highlights are ‘Where There’s A Will’, featuring Steve Winwood on organ, and ‘Who You Callin’ Crazy’, which features British jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine.

The release also includes ‘Human Tide’, ‘She Still Comes Around’ and ‘Bad Luck Hideaway’, the latter already made available as a bonus track on the iTunes-exclusive edition of Foreign Tongues before appearing on digital platforms as the B-side to a new streaming release of ‘Mr. Charm’. The expanded collection therefore brings together recordings that have had different levels of availability rather than presenting all five songs as entirely unheard material.

‘Who You Callin’ Crazy’ is scheduled to reach streaming services on October 16, ahead of the deluxe edition’s November release.

Pine’s contribution adds another connection to Mick Jagger’s solo career. The saxophonist previously played on Jagger’s 1993 album Wandering Spirit. Pine recently confirmed that he had returned to the studio with Jagger for a Rolling Stones session, revealing the collaboration during an appearance on BBC Radio 3’s Private Passions on October 11.

Pine described Jagger as an exceptional artist and recalled being called back to Los Angeles to record another version of a track for the singer’s solo album in the 1990s. His appearance on ‘Who You Callin’ Crazy’ now connects that earlier collaboration with the Stones’ latest recording period.

The new material also revisits the band’s extraordinary recording history with Charlie Watts. ‘Human Tide’ is described as featuring a duet vocal by Jagger and Keith Richards, while the expanded collection’s recording background includes material associated with the late drummer. Watts died in August 2021, but his performances continue to feature in the band’s posthumous studio releases.

Foreign Tongues was released on July 10, 2026, with producer Andrew Watt overseeing the sessions. It followed 2023’s Hackney Diamonds, the band’s first album of original material in 18 years, and continued a late-career run that also included the blues covers album Blue & Lonesome in 2016.

The original album brought together Jagger, Richards and Ronnie Wood with an extensive group of guest musicians. Contributions included Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, Bruno Mars, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Winwood. The record also incorporated a song recorded with Watts before his death.

The album’s first single, ‘In The Stars’, was released on May 5, backed by ‘Rough And Twisted’. The latter had first appeared in a strictly limited vinyl release credited to The Cockroaches, a pseudonym the Stones have used for secret performances. A music video for ‘In The Stars’, featuring Odessa A’zion, followed on May 14.

The second single, ‘Jealous Lover’, was released on June 25, backed by ‘Divine Intervention’. Both tracks helped establish the album’s campaign before the full record arrived in July.

Commercially, Foreign Tongues reached number one in 14 countries. In the United Kingdom, it debuted at number one with first-week sales of 38,016 copies, becoming the Rolling Stones’ 15th UK number-one album. That result tied the band with The Beatles for the second-highest number of UK number-one albums, behind Robbie Williams.

In the United States, Foreign Tongues debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200, earning 54,000 album-equivalent units. Those figures included 49,000 pure album sales and 4.48 million on-demand streams. It was the band’s 39th top 10 album on the Billboard 200 and the week’s best-selling album by pure sales.

The deluxe edition extends the album’s commercial life while giving fans access to five more recordings from the sessions. It also arrives as the band members continue to discuss their next steps. Jagger said in June that he had already started writing more songs, although he acknowledged that some ideas might be better suited to other artists.

Touring remains less certain. Ronnie Wood has said Jagger is eager to return to the stage, while Richards is not currently pushing for another run of shows. Wood has indicated he will be ready when his bandmates agree, but no new touring plans have been confirmed.

For now, Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips offers the next instalment of the Stones’ current studio chapter, adding five tracks to an album that has already delivered strong chart results around the world.
