Snoop Dogg To Deliver Keynote At SXSW

Snoop Dogg has been named keynote speaker for SXSW 2015.

The keynote address is the centrepiece of the SXSW music conference. Previous speakers from the last 10 years have been Lady Gaga (2014), Dave Grohl (2013), Bruce Springsteen (2012), Bob Geldof (2011), Smokey Robinson (2010), Quincy Jones (2009), Lou Reed (2008), Pete Townshend (2007), Neil Young (2006), Robert Plant (2005).

Snoop Dogg has released 12 albums starting with his debut ‘Doggystyle’ in 1993. That album sold over 800,000 copies in its first week in the USA and reached no 1. In Australia it peaked at no. 24.

Snoop Dogg will release his new Pharrell Williams produced album ‘BUSH’ in May.

Snoop Dogg’s Keynote Conversation will take place in Ballroom A of the Austin Convention Center on Friday March 20 at 11am during SXSW.
