The Dead Daisies guitarist Richard Fortus (ex-Guns N Roses) and bass player Macro Mendoza (ex-Thin Lizzy) will conduct music workshops during their upcoming Australian tour.
Fortus will conduct his ‘For The Love Of Music’ workshop in Sydney on November 20 and then Melbourne on December 1. Mendoza will host ‘An Afternoon with Marco Mendoza’ on November 30 in Melbourne.
Both workshops are free but you must register to attend.
The Fortus workshop is being put on by Allans Billy Hyde and Gibson Guitars with attendees also having the chance to win an Epiphone Les Paul Standard signed by The Dead Daisies.
Richard Fortus is also the current guitarist for Guns N Roses and previously worked in Thin Lizzy and The Psychedelic Furs.
The Dead Daisies bass player Marco Mendoza was a member of Ted Nugent’s band and Thin Lizzy before the band morphed into Black Star Riders.
