The Fumes won Blues Artist Of The Year at the Oz Music Awards, released a couple of fine albums, toured with QOTSA and played virtually every festival in the nation, but have been off the radar for some while.

Now they’ve been revived as Steve Merry has paired with a new drummer – Jacob Mann. Steve and Jacob have recorded a new EP titled ‘Franky’, which is due out in August, and they lead it with the first single ‘Dance In Costume’

You can get the new single by heading to The Fumes’ website and punching in your email address.

And you can see them tear it up live during their July East Coast tour. Tickets are on sale now from OzTix and The Corner for the Melbourne Worker’s Club show.

Remind yourself of their scorching sound with their ‘Automobile’ single from a couple of years back.
