TLC And Montell Jordan Announce Australia and New Zealand Dates

by Paul Cashmere on August 22, 2016

in News

R&B act TLC will tour Australia and New Zealand in November with special guest Montell Jordan.

After the death of Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes in 2002, Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas decided not to replace their late friend, and instead carried on as a duo. In 2017 TLC will bring the story to a close with the release of a final album.

The new TLC album was once again produced by Dallas Austin and will feature a collaboration with Lady Gaga titled ‘Posh Life’. The origins of the album started with a Kickstarter campaign. TLC found many famous fans including Bette Midler, Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry contribute to the funding. The album is expected to include many unused recording from Left Eye.

This year TLC went out on tour with New Kids On The Block and Nelly.

TLC’s ‘CrazySexyCool’ is the only album by a female singing group to sell over 10 million in the USA. It is currently certified at 11 times Platinum.
