in Live,News

U2 have announced that they will begin a world tour on May 14 in Vancouver, BC, concentrating on arenas instead of stadiums for the first time in years.

The iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour will hit 19 cities (so far) with a minimum of two dates in each. More dates are expected, most likely extending into 2016.

Bono said this tour will be a bit different. “We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience. More to be revealed!”

It has been mentioned that their current release, Songs of Innocence, would be followed by Songs of Experience at some time in the near future.

Dates in North America run from May through July with European dates from September to November. Tickets will be available in a pre-sale from tomorrow through Saturday with general sales beginning Monday, December 8.
