Wilco has started to drop a few more hints to the sound of the new album ‘Schmilco’ by sharing the song ‘Someone To Lose’.

The title ‘Schilmco’ is a clever nod to the classic Nilsson album ‘Schmilsson’. ‘Someone To Lose’ is the third track previewed so far after fans earlier with treated to ‘Locator’ then ‘If I Ever Was A Child’ earlier this year.

Schmilco is Wilco’s 10th studio album and features 12 new songs written by Jeff Tweedy. It is the third Wilco release on the band’s own dBpm Records, and it follows Star Wars, which was released for free and as a surprise, in July 2015. Recorded at the band’s Chicago studio the Loft, Schmilco is produced by Tweedy and Tom Schick.

Wilco is Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Nels Cline, Glenn Kotche, Patrick Sansone and Mikael Jorgensen.
