The 2025 Red Hot Summer Tour featuring Crowded House has become one of the most successful in the festival's 14-year history.

Crowded House have officially kicked off the 2025 Red Hot Summer Tour, launching the season with a Legends On The Lawn event in Cairns on 11 October. The full Red Hot Summer season gets underway next weekend at Sandstone Point, Queensland.

For Liam Finn, songwriting has always been part of his DNA. As the son of Neil Finn, he grew up surrounded by the melodic architecture of Split Enz and Crowded House, but over two decades and countless projects, Liam has carved out his own creative identity - one that both complements and challenges his father's legacy.

In an unexpected, yet profoundly moving moment this past weekend, Kiwi music icon Neil Finn stepped into Aotea Square, Auckland, and lent his voice to a pro-Palestine rally, delivering a stirring a capella performance of “Don’t Dream It’s Over” to a gathering estimated at 300–500 people braving the elements.

Crowded House will do even more shows for 2025 as well as their run of Red Hot Summer shows.

Crowded House are going to prison, Fremantle Prison in Western Australia to be exact.
