Bill McDonough was the founding member and drummer for Australian Crawl for the first three albums ‘The Boys Light Up’, ‘Sirocco’ and ‘Sons of Beaches’.
His bother Guy joined and together the McDonough brothers contributed to a swag of Crawl songs including ‘Downhearted’, Errol’ and ‘Shutdown’.
Guy passed away in 1984 at the age of 28.
Bill has documented the story of the two brothers and their rock and roll lifestyle in the book ‘Sons of Beaches’. He talks to Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.
