Gary Barlow To Host Queen’s Jubilee Concert

Gary Barlow has been announced as the host of Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace next week.

Over three days, the stars will gather at Buckingham Palace for the Diamond Jubilee Concert featuring Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Cliff Richard, Sir Elton John, Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Tom Jones, Stevie Wonder, Kylie Minogue, Jools Holland, Madness, Annie Lennox, Ed Sheeran, Alfie Boe and Jessie J.

The concerts are a prelude to the 2012 Olympic Games staring in London on July 27.

The Jubilee Concert will be broadcast around the world by the BBC on BBC Entertainment (Africa, Poland, the Nordic Region, Asia, India, Latin America and the channel’s pan-European service3), BBC Knowledge (Africa, Poland, the Nordic Region, Italy, Asia and Australia), BBC HD (Latin America, Poland, The Nordic region and Turkey), UKTV (Australia and New Zealand) and BBC World News (global).
