Marina Prior Joins Cast Of Dream Lover

Marina Prior, one of Australia’s greatest musical theatre performers of the 21st century, will join the cast of ‘Dream Lover – The Bobby Darin Musical’ for the Melbourne season in December.

Marina has been cast in the dual roles of Polly, Bobby Darin’s mother who is later revealed to be his grandmother, and Mary Douvan, mother of Sandra Dee (Bobby’s wife).

The cast announcement also includes Martin Crewes as Steve Blauner, Rodney Dobson as Charlie and a supporting cast featuring Danielle Barnes, Ian Bliss, Ella Burns, Jan Di Pietro, Stefanie Jones, Andrew Kroenert, Jess Lindon, Natasha Paramor, Thern Reynolds, Josh Robson, Suzanne Steele, Ellen Sutton, Riley Sutton, Jack Van Staveren, Drew Weston, Deone Zanotto.

‘Dream Lover – The Bobby Darin Musical’ stars David Campbell as Bobby Darin and Hannah Fredericksen as Bobby’s wife Sandra Dee. The show is based on an original concept and stage play by Frank Howson and John-Michael Howson, and adapted for the stage by Frank Howson with Simon Phillips and Carolyn Burns.
