Memo Music Hall Plans Salute To Dr John This Sunday

Melbourne musicians will gather at Memo Music Hall in St Kilda this Sunday for a tribute to Mac Rebennack (aka Dr John) who passed away on 6 June 2019.

The ‘A Salute To Dr John’ show will feature Andrew Swann, Tim Neal and Mark Ferrie with Dia Jones and Kerri Simpson. Other artists will be added.

Dr John was New Orleans born and bred. He also passed away in his home town.

Dr John won six Grammy Awards and in 1973 achieved at Top 10 hit with ‘Right Place Wrong Time’.
