The Bamboos have recorded a cover of the James Blake track ‘The Wilhelm Scream’ with Megan Washington to mark their 10th anniversary.

The recording will be release as a limited edition double A-side 7” vinyl single on November 14 via Fuse.
Washington contributes vocals to the Blake cover while the other side is ‘Eel Oil’, a Bamboos deep funk instrumental that featured on their first EP back in 2001.
The Bamboos were formed in Melbourne by New Zealand born guitarist Lance Ferguson. They have released six studio albums and two live albums.
Their music has appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Underbelly, Bondi Rescue and Packed To The Rafters.
The Bamboos have also been the backing band for Eddie Floyd, Betty Harris, Eddie Bo, Syl Johnson and Joe Bataan.
