The story of the Cosmic Psychos has just been told via the Matt Weston film ‘Blokes You Can Trust’.

Australia’s Cosmic Psychos are unlikely heroes. Barely known in their own country, this punk band of the 80s from central Victoria went on to influence the Grunge movement in the USA with the likes of Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, The Melvins and L7 all card carrying Cosmic Psyschos fans.

The movie features Butch Vig, Eddie Vedder and Donita Sparks talking about the impact one Australian band whose lead singer is a farmer had on their early career.

Ross Knight, Dean Muller and director Matt Weston tell the story of Cosmic Psychos and the movie Blokes You Can Trust to Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.
