Kane has captured some of the greatest acts on earth and cites a photo-shoot with Dave Grohl as one of those highlights.
“When I’m documenting a live performance, backstage or a creative process I’m really just looking for moments that define the event. I only need to come away with one shot to be successful,” he states.
“When I’m photographing a portrait, if possible, I like to try and portray the artist in a different light. Take them out of their comfort zone and try to give the viewer a previously unknown insight into the artist”.
Kane will curate ‘If These Walls Could Talk’ for Billboard The Venue in Melbourne on July 3.
