We talk to British post-hardcore favourites You Me At Six on the verge of the big time with Sinners Never Sleep.
You Me At Six have been on a steep upward trajectory since they appeared with Take Off Your Colours in 2006. Their mad legion of fans, addicted to the broad range of sounds – from bounding pop-punk to chugging breakdowns – sent album number two Hold Me Down into the British top five. And they’re on the brink of releasing their third album.
We chat with drummer Dan and bassist Matt about why hardcore bands love them, drinking, the rumours of Hayley from Paramore guesting, and whether Sinners Next Sleep will really top the charts.
