A massive 63CD Johnny Cash box set is on the way and even then it won’t include his entire recordings.

Johnny Cash The Complete Collection

‘The Complete Collection’ will feature all of Cash’s Columbia Recordings, dating back to 1958.

Cash recorded 59 albums for Columbia plus collections starting with 1958’s ‘The Fabulous Johnny Cash’.

This collection will also include his Sun Records recordings from 1954-1958 on a bonus album titled ‘Johnny Cash With His Hot and Blue Guitar’. ‘The Complete Collection’ will also include two new compilations ‘The Singles’ with 55 songs that did not appear on original albums.

The title will be available from October 30, 2012.

It’s been 20 years since the passing of Johnny Cash on 12 September 2003. Johnny’s original label Sun Records is re-issuing his 1958 album ‘Johnny Cash Sings The Songs That Made Him Famous’ to mark the 20th anniversary of his death.
