Alison Moyet is digging deep into her Yazoo past on her current Australian tour.

At her show in Adelaide this week Alison performed four Yazoo songs including the classics ‘Only You’ and ‘Don’t Go’.

Yazoo was Alison Moyet and former Depeche Mode keyboard player Vince Clarke. They were around for a brief moment in the 80s between 1981 and 1983, producing two albums ‘Upstairs At Erics’ (1982) and ‘You and Me Both’ (1983).

‘Upstairs At Erics’ reached no 10 in Australia and delivered the two hits ‘Only You’ (no 7, 1982) and ‘Don’t Go’ (no 6, 1982).

A further single ‘Situation’ was released as well in 1982. It is part of Alison’s current set.

Yazoo’s second album ‘You and Me Both’ delivered ‘Nobody’s Diary’ (no 17, 1983), which is also part of her set.
