Ben Folds will perform again with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 2020.

Folds last perform with the MSO in September 2006. The show in March is said to be a one-off.

“When I perform with an orchestra, I’m expressing myself through a different form than in a rock show. It’s a form that happens to be done by people who are among the best musicians on the planet,” Ben Folds said in a statement.

Ben has performed with orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Minnesota Orchestra.
