Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles has confirmed she’s a mum to twins.

Reports suggesting Beyonce and her husband Jay Z became parents again earlier this wee emerged on Saturday (June 17), and now the new mum’s dad has taken to Twitter to confirm the happy news.

“They’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday,” he wrote alongside a picture of balloons with the message, “Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad.”

Reports suggesting Beyonce and her husband Jay Z became parents again earlier this wee emerged on Saturday (June 17), and now the new mum’s dad has taken to Twitter to confirm the happy news.

Beyonce and Jay Z have yet to officially announce the births.

The 35-year-old R&B star announced she was pregnant again in February by posting a shot of her baby bump on social media, and she debuted her belly in person at the Grammys.

Reports she had become a mum began swirling this week when rapper Jay Z missed his Songwriters Hall of Fame induction in New York City on Thursday night (June 15). Sources also told E! News that he was spotted heading into a Los Angeles hospital alongside his five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy. An unidentified woman was also seen entering the hospital carrying two baby foot-shaped pink and blue balloons and flowers with a card that read, “Congratulations B & J”.

Beyonce and the 99 Problems hitmaker tied the knot in April, 2008. They welcomed their daughter in 2012, but the singer experienced heartbreak before becoming a mum when she had a miscarriage during her first pregnancy. She previously insisted experiencing such a sad loss made her even more grateful when she eventually gave birth.

“There’s no words that can express having a baby growing inside of you,” she said.
