Blues Brothers Star Charles Napier Dies At 75

Charles Napier, best known for his part as Tucker McElroy from the Good Ole Boys in the Blues Brothers movie, has died at the age of 75.

Napier died on Wednesday after collapsing at his California home on Tuesday. He was rushed to hospital but taken off life support on Wednesday.

Napier was a tough guy in movies. His movie roles included ‘Silence of the Lambs’, ‘Rambo: First Blood 2’, ‘Married To The Mob’, ‘Swing Shift’ and ‘Something Wild’.

His first television role was in a 1967 episode of ‘Mission Impossible’. He was also the voice of The Hulk when The Hulk growled. In 1969, Napier played a musical space hippie in an episode of Star Trek. He was also an officer in ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’ in 1967.

Napier was married twice. He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
