Bob Dylan To Release Triple Album ‘Triplicate’

Bob Dylan will release a triple album of American standards titled ‘Triplicate’ in March.

The triple disc will be broken down into three chapters, ‘’Til The Sun Goes Down’, ‘Devil Dogs’ and ‘Comin’ Home Late’. Each chapter will contain 10 loosely themed songs.

‘Triplicate’ will be the 38th Dylan album and his second triple album after ‘Masterpieces’ (released on in Australia, New Zealand and Japan) in 1978.

The preview track ‘I Could Have Told You’, from disc one ‘Til The Sun Goes Down’, was released with the announcement.

‘Triplicate’ was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood. The album follows Dylan’s mission to place his stamp on American standards started with ‘Shadows In The Night’ (2015) and ‘Fallen Angels’ (2016’.

‘Triplicate’ will be released on March 31, 2017.
