The country music community, at least the older members, are coming together on Wednesday, July 27 to raise money for the slain police officers in Dallas.

“Stars Behind the Stars” will be held at Billy Bob’s Texas in Ft. Worth with performances by:

Tanya Tucker
The Oak Ridge Boys
Mark Wills
Collin Raye
Janie Fricke
T.G. Sheppard
Kelly Lang
The Bellamy Brothers
T. Graham Brown
Johnny Lee
Gene Watson
John Conlee
Ronnie McDowell
Mickey Gilley
Moe Bandy

In addition, there will be a special appearance by Randy Travis who continues to recover from a 2013 stroke.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the show will go to the Dallas Police Association’s Assist the Officer Foundation which provides financial assistant to the family of officers killed in the line of duty.

The event is produced by Kirt Webster and Scott Adkins of Nashville-based Webster Public Relations in association with Concho Minick of Billy Bob’s Texas. Billy Bob’s Texas is donating the facility and providing staffing and marketing for the event. Advanced Aviation Team will provide private charter airfare to make it possible for artists to travel and participate in STARS BEHIND THE STARS.
