Darren Hayes has recorded a cover of Prince’s ‘I Wish U Heaven’ for an upcoming Prince tribute album.

‘I Wish U Heaven’ was the third single from Prince’s 10th studio album ‘Lovesexy’, released in 1988.

Prince performed ‘I Wish U Heaven’ mostly in 1988 and 1989. He last performed the song in 1998.

Hayes posted, “I’ve recorded a new version of my favorite ever Prince song and it’s going to be on this free Prince tribute album. ‘Like’ the FB page for details of release”.

The Prince tribute will be released as a free album in mid-December.

The Prince Tribute album “I Wish U Heaven” is coming together more and more each day ! I am humbled by the response from my artist, producer and musician friends. If YOU or YOUR BAND want to be a part of this labor-of-love project in any way, please message me ASAP. Available Mid-December 2017 (free) ! Peace.
