Five Chris Cornell Related Albums Re-Enter US Chart

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on May 26, 2017

in News

The big chart news of the week in the USA is the number of Chris Cornell projects that have launched back onto the charts in the wake of the singer’s death.

Chris Cornell fans have revisited all of Cornell’s bands and solo works as a show of mourning for the late singer whose death appears to be caused by the effects of prescription medication.

Between solo work, Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, Cornell has five albums in the top 200:

Superunknown – Soundgarden (#32)
Audioslave – Audioslave (#54)
Badmotorfinger – Soundgarden (#110)
Temple of the Dog – Temple of the Dog (#136)
Scrapbook – Chris Cornell (#183)

A memorial for Chris Cornell will be held in Los Angeles on Friday. Cornell was cremated at a private family gathering on Tuesday.
